During the third term, our students will be working on a simple but engaging assignment to develop their critical thinking, math, communication and technology skills. They will design a research project, conduct survey, collect data, analyze and finally present results. This assignment will encourage creativity and teamwork, and let students take ownership of their projects!
The research assignment will replace 3rd term assessment.
During this project students will learn to use following Google Workspace tools.
Survey Creation
Google Dos, MS Word, Google Form
Data Analysis
Google Sheets, MS Excel
Presentation
Google Slides, MS PowerPoint
Topic Selection.
Students will conduct research on "Students' Preferences".
Survey Design
Create simple, clear questions with multiple-choice answer options. Google Docs will be used to develop survey questionnaire.
Collect Data
Students will ask friends studying in grades 6 - 8 to answer survey questions. Data will be fed using Google Form
Organize Data
Responses will be recorded in Google Sheets using Google Form.
5. Analyze & Visualize Data:
Google sheets will be used to analyze and visualize data.
6. Draw Conclusions | Present the report
Project outcomes will be presented using Google Slides.
